  • Eligibility Worker I 

    Location:  Fort Totten, ND

    Description

    Interview and determining eligibility for applicants and recipients for various types of assistance.  Process applications, establish electronic case files, perform necessary actions related to fraud and appeals.

     Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma
    • One year work experience determining eligibility in a social service office in at least one economic assistant program
    • Computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel)
    • Detailed-oriented and organized
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Professionalism and integrity

     Salary/Benefits

    • $3255/DOE

  • Office Assistant III

    Location:  Devils Lake ND & Fort Totten ND

    Description:

    This position functions as one of the administrative support staff of the agency. The position will be located in Devils Lake but will require travel to the Fort Totten location approximately three days per week. Position provides clients with appropriate information for application process, screen, and direct clients to appropriate staff for appointments and questions, maintain electronic schedule and check in sheet, keep lobby orderly and clean, maintain supply inventory, assemble application packets, process incoming and outgoing mail, filing, and scanning documents, and other projects as requested. Screen Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program applications including issuance of EBT cards. Successful candidate will maintain a considerable knowledge of all programs offered in order to best assist clients. Confidential information will be handled on a daily basis and confidentiality must be maintained at all times and regular attendance is required.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma
    • Or, GED with additional qualifications
    • Computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel)
    • Detailed-oriented and organized
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Professionalism and integrity
